The RE-FUSE team met in Athens for the platform's rounding off. The aim of this last activity was to further elaborate the scenic documentary that was created at Gaudeamus Music Week and present it at the Alternative Stage of the Greek National Opera. The team worked for four days at Alternative Stage, a multifunctional hall designed to host medium-size productions of various artistic genres. The hall is located at the new facilities of the GNO at the Stavros Niarchos Cultural Centre.
During these four days the team worked in a rather conventional rehearsal context; each member functioned within his or her discipline more than ever. The artists who needed to have a clear overview of the performative material were free to watch part of the rehearsal from the auditorium, being able to suggest ideas that would improve the result, either technically or content-wise. However, there was still room for exploration on stage, as the scenic documentary included improvised parts and dynamic interaction among the performers.
For its last activities in Athens, the RE-FUSE platform included in its team Vassiliki Sourri, who supported the presentations as a production & artistic assistant.
